KARACHI: Mohammad Amir lost his cool again during the match between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United yesterday in HBL PSL 8. Emerging batsman, Hassan Nawaz, tried to take on Amir on his first delivery but missed the connection. Left-arm pacer didn’t like it and said few words to the rookie batsman. Nawaz then spanked Amir through covers for a boundary on next ball. However, the left-arm pacer had the last laugh, as Nawaz top-edged a short delivery straight into the hands of the keeper. Amir was pumped and gave a send-off to the batsman.

Tom Curran also had a slog at Amir, but ended up top-edging him over the keeper for a boundary on his first ball. Amir wasn’t amused and exchanged a few words with him. Curran didn’t back down and replied with few words of his own.

The pacer took two wickets, while conceding 30 runs in his four-over spell against United.
