Alvi nods Pak Diamond Jubilee Medal

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arif Alvi gave assent to Pakistan Diamond Jubilee Medal 2022 for armed forces. President Alvi approved medal in line with Awards Act 1975. Medal will be awarded to members of Pakistan Army, civilian forces and other law enforcement agencies for acknowledgement of their services in defending geographical and political boundaries.

Reports said that medal would be awarded for contributing to establishment of peace inside country and countering terrorism.
