Karachi: Jamaat-e-Islami amir Sirajul Haq said that all political parties should play their role for supremacy of Constitution and uplifting of democracy, according to report reaching here.

Expressing his thoughts, Haq bemoaned: “Election results were organised not on vote counting, but on mathematics’ formulas.”

“Why was joke made with nation if holding elections was all about selection? We will take all possible steps to expose rigging in elections.”

Haq asserted, “Next government that will be formed as result of rigging will not be able to address masses’ problems. 45,000 JI workers will elect new amir of party through secret ballot. According to details that emerged, Sirajul Haq, Liaquat Baloch and Hafiz Naeemur Rehman will lock horns against each other.

In this regard, ballot papers had been issued to all JI workers across country for elections of next JI amir.
