All measures to be taken to arrange National Games in Balochistan: minister

QUETTA, December 06 (PPI) : Abdul Khaliq Hazara, Minister for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs, has said that all measures would be adopted to arrange 34th National Games in Balochistan in a befitting manner. These views were expressed by him while talking to Muhammad Ishaque Jamali, Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department who called on him in his office at Balochistan Civil Secretariat here on Tuesday.  

Hazara said that apart from Quetta, outdoor events of 32 different disciplines of sports would be arranged in different cities of Balochistan. He said that it was for the first time in the history of Balochistan that events of national games would be arranged in different cities of the province besides arranging the events of national games in Quetta, adding that thirty five hundred male and female players of different discipline of sports were going to participate in the mega event of sports supposed to be held in Quetta in the first week of May, 2023. 

Highlighting the significance of arranging 34th national games in Balochistan, he said that it would be strived to bring all the parallel groups of different sport’s’ associations of the province on one page in order to highlight the soft image of the province. On the occasion, Mustafa Khan Achakzai, Assistant Director, Youth Affairs and Naazir Hussain Hazara, Private Secretary to Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs were also present.
