Pak fans are extremely excited as all eyes  are set on tomorrow's grand finale  between Pakistan and England during the ongoing T20 Cricket World Cup, with the Pakistan's fans yearning for a victory by Green Shirts.

In fact, they want nothing less than victory. In fact, ahead of the Sunday encounter, the cricket euphoria is getting intense as the Sunday is approaching. In fact, the Pak cricket aficionados are ecstatic ahead of this highly-anticipated match as they want nothing less than victory. The intensity of the situation can be gauged from the fact that tickets for this grand finale have already been sold out while a lot of fans are still running from pillar to post to get tickets. As reported, around five lakh tickets have been sold for the final of T20 World Cup.

In fact, it is record selling of the ticket for this 16-nation tournament which got underway on October 16 with Australia playing as hosts for the first time. It may be recalled here that the Green Shirts last clinched the prestigious title in 2009 at Lord's in England, defeating Sri Lanka by eight wickets. This is the second chance for them to win this mega title.

Cricket experts say that the match will garner a record television reach as well. It is hoped that the highly-anticipated match  will see Green Shirts perform up to expectations and repeating history of 1992 world Cup, beating England to win the grand title. The fans are eyeing second T20 World Cup title.

Our middle order batsmen have delivered goods in recent encounters, particularly the last two matches. So the team captain Babar Azam and the entire team is confident to perform well in this mega tournament.

Meanwhile, cricket analysts have advised the Green Shirts to be extremely careful on the ground with regarding to taking catches and not to repeat the past mistakes  of running out of steam like they did last year, when Pakistan was on top in the Super 12 stage with  unbeaten show but were later sent packing by Australia in the semi-final encounter. It may be recalled here that the Green Shirts are upbeat ahead of the Sunday encounter.

Right now they should take inspirations  from the grand final of the 1992 Cricket World Cup in which they outclassed England.

Meanwhile, England is favorite for this mega event. They are upbeat and they are also the winners of the last 50-overs World Cup in 2019.

They are also in good form and are fresh from beating  India comprehensively by 10 wickets in the semi-final on Thursday last at Adelaide Oval. But this does not mean that Pakistan are underdogs. One feel  our pace attack would be a great match for the English players, who know the strength of our bowling side. Experts say that  both the teams  are equally poised to win the final.

However it all depends on the game on  the given day.  Pakistan are also in good form. Earlier, the Green Shirts convincingly defeated kiwis in the semifinal by as many as seven wickets. Openers Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan hit half-centuries and fans want them to continue with same good form in the final as well. Pakistan team had played well in all departments of the game in semifinal.  Their batting, bowing and fielding was good on the given day.

Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi shone with the leather by leading the way with taking two precious wickets for twenty-four runs  to restrict the Black Caps to a meagre total. Our fast attack should be attacking nature while our batsmen should play a sensible batting. Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi shone with the leather by leading the way with taking two precious wickets for twenty-four runs to restrict the Black Caps to a meagre total.

Our fast attack should be attacking nature while our batsmen should play a sensible batting. The purpose to say is that they will have to deliver in all departments of the game. Fielding should be given equal attention as catches win matches.

On the other hand, Babar should lead the team from the front. He is very capable of doing this as he has proved by many an occasion, He is only 28, but he can win this mega title as he and his team is in good form after the semi final victory.

He can definitely match Imran Khan's feat of 1992. Pakistan are a capable side and they can turn tables on any one on any given day.  Just imagine, they were on the receiving end in the tournament with two defeats in the group stage, yet they qualified for the semi final and also won it in style. So they can do wonder at the MCG tomorrow when they meet the red-hot favourite England in the T20 format of the game.
