Karachi: Alkhidmat Karachi prepared hundreds of huffaaz through its network of Tafheem ul Qur’an madaris which include ten dedicated madrasahs for memorisation of Holy Qur’an, according to CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig. These centres for Qur’an memorisation, which do not charge anything from students are located at Korangi, Orangi, Malir, Buffer Zone, Baldiya Town and other places. Apart from these, Alkhidmat also runs 77 madaris under Tafheem ul Qur’an network where children are being educated in general Qur’anic subjects and character-building under dedicated instructors. Apart from normal courses, children also engage in extra-curricular activities to broaden their skills and prepare them for practical life after they leave their institutions.

Naveed Ali Baig said that Alkhidmat has been providing exemplary service in education for long time and disclosed that cost of raising one Hafiz child was Rs 3,000 per month and Rs 36,000 per year. Calling preparation of huffaaz great and noble service deserving of greatest reward by Allah (SWT), he appealed to those with means to come forward and assist Alkhidmat in its efforts to establish more madaris and facilitate memorisation and study of Holy Qur’an.
