KARACHI: Alkhidmat Karachi’s relief efforts in earthquake-hit areas of Turkiye and Syria are underway. A special team of volunteers headed by Manager Disaster Management Sarfaraz Sheikh and equipped with equipment to cut steel, move debris and locate people trapped under rubble has flown to affected area to participate in rescue efforts.

Team will provide much-needed aid in form of medicine, cooked food, water and warm clothes to quake victims. CEO Alkhidmat Karachi said that it is everyone’s religious and moral duty to support their Turkish and Syrian brethren in this difficult time when there has been widespread devastation of life and property, and thousands of near and dear ones are dead, missing or injured. He called upon those with means to come forward and assist Alkhidmat in its rescue and relief efforts.
