Al-Khidmat, GCT to work for enrollment of out-of-school children

KARACHI: Al-Khidmat Foundation Pakistan and Green Crescent Trust (GCT) have agreed to work together to jointly tackle challenge of out-of-school children and illiteracy in backward areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

Agreement to this effect was reached as chiefs of two non-profits attended inauguration of combined charitable school in underprivileged town of Winder in Balochistan. School has been handed over to GCT by Al-Khidmat Foundation Women Wing. This is second such joint activity by two charities.

Al-Khidmat Foundation President Dr Hafeez ur Rehman said that building quality schooling facilities in Balochistan would go long way in tackling issues of backwardness and mass poverty in largest province of country.
