Karachi: Alkhidmat Karachi announced construction of model village with permanent houses for flood victims of Gadap Town.  Executive Director Alkhidmat Rashid Qureishi, Manager Disaster Management Sarfaraz Sheikh and members of team visiting Gadap Town surveyed houses constructed earlier as well as new area for model village.

Having concluded rescue and relief operations, he issued orders to expedite rehabilitation process particularly work on model village.  He said that Alkhidmat delivered such permanent housing to flood victims in Punjab and Balochistan also and already delivered houses in Gadap according to local pattern and design. 

He reminded public that Alkhidmat has history of doing rehabilitation work, having accomplished similar activities during earthquake and previous floods and would not leave present flood victims alone. He appealed to those with means to come forward and support Alkhidmat in its rehabilitation plans.
