Recent viral social media post featuring jacket worn by singer Ali Zafar sparked rumours of his political affiliation. Jacket had words "Sher Aya Sher Aya" along with an image of bat, leading many to believe that Zafar had joined PML-N party.

However, Zafar took to twitter to clarify situation. He shared video of himself wearing jacket during sound check before show in Toronto and explained that it was just hoodie with various symbols, including words Balla and lion.

Zafar expressed his disappointment with politicisation of his clothing, stating that he is an artist and should not be dragged into political controversies without proper research. He clarified that he has not joined any political party. Viral post and rumors were quickly debunked by Zafar's clarification, which he shared on social media. He urged his fans and followers to refrain from spreading false information without proper verification.
