Aleem Khan, Kazakh envoy discuss bilateral trade boost

 Islamabad: Ambassador Yerzhan Kustafin of Kazakhstan met with Minister of Commerce and Investment Board and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, to discuss bilateral relations and mutual interests.

During meeting, they explored various avenues to enhance trade and economic cooperation between two nations. One of key highlights was invitation extended by Ambassador Kustafin to Minister Abdul Aleem Khan to participate in forthcoming trade and logistics forum involving twelve countries. He expressed Pakistan’s keen interest in boosting bilateral trade and business ties with all Central Asian countries, emphasising importance of enhancing connectivity via air, railand road. Kustafin highlighted Kazakhstan’s utilisation of Karachi Port for exports to Dubai and expressed gratitude for Pakistan’s efforts to strengthen bilateral relations. He assured practical steps towards advancing investments and other collaborative initiatives in Pakistan. Discussions underscored mutual commitment to fostering robust economic partnerships and promoting trade relations beneficial to both nations.
