Rawalpindi: Aleema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan expressed strong views on party’s stance regarding 2024 elections.

Speaking to media, she said that Khan party maintains its position against any form of electoral manipulation, stating that “Message of founder of PTI is that there is no example of fraud on February 9.”

She alleged that those who hold power through “Stolen mandates” are concerned about potential consequences of situation.

Drawing parallels with India, Aleema Khan cited example of Bharatiya Janata Party in Chandigarh, where returning officers allegedly rigged elections. She expressed hope that Supreme Court of Pakistan would deliver justice akin to its Indian counterpart.

Aleema Khan underscored importance of safeguarding people’s vote, suggesting that failure to protect electoral integrity could warrant reevaluation of entire political system. She lamented arrest and persecution of PTI members including women, over past two years, emphasising need for fair and transparent outcomes.

These remarks reflect ongoing political discourse in Pakistan, where concerns over electoral transparency and accountability remain at forefront of public debate.
