Akhuwat Founder, Senate Chairman discuss alleviation sufferings of needy, remedial steps

Islamabad: Founder of Akhuwat Foundation Muhammad Amjad Saqib called on Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani at Parliament House. He briefed him about social uplift projects being carried by Akhuwat Foundation to alleviate sufferings of downtrodden communities.

He gave detailed overview of scope of work and initiatives being taken by Foundation. Chairman Senate acknowledging role of Foundation said to empower underprivileged communities in Balochistan especially focusing on far-flung areas need to be brought into mainstream of development through collaborative efforts of Foundation.

Chairman Senate observed that large population of country is living below poverty line and to address this issue there is need to take tangible steps to develop and impart professional skills of youth to enable them play active role in social and economic development of country besides overcoming challenges of poverty. He stressed importance of creating opportunities and implementing supportive policies to uplift lives of those struggling, underscoring significance of fostering society where every citizen can access essential resources and lead dignified life.

Founder of Foundation agreed with views of Chairman Senate and assured to make an effort to focus on different areas of Balochistan.
