AJK Minister performs soft launching of Solar Clean Energy moot

KARACHII: Azad Jammu and Kashmir Minister for Energy and Water Resources Chaudhry Arshad Hussain performed soft launching of 3rd International Solar Clean Energy Conference 2023.

AJK minister appreciated that organiser of upcoming conference, Energy Update had been constantly organising conferences and exhibitions to promote indigenous and renewable sources of energy abundantly available in country.

He said conferences being organised by Energy Update on hydroelectricity, wind and solar power resources were step ahead toward energy independence of Pakistan.

NFEH Chief Naeem Qureshi Chairman of organizing committee of conference said solar clean energy conference was being organised when government had been desperately looking for reliable means for ensuring least dependency on imported fossil fuels for electricity production.

He said conference would be held to help government in its drive to ensure maximum utilisation of clean energy resources that are in abundance in every part of country. Qureshi said upcoming conference was fully in line with vision of government to ensure that up to 30 percent of electricity in Pakistan was produced from clean energy resources till 2030.

He said conference would also showcase latest technological innovations in solar energy arena for benefit of end-consumers of power sector.

Upcoming conference would be attended by all stakeholders and professionals associated with solar and clean energy projects in Pakistan. Concerned experts would suggest way forward for Pakistan in clean energy sector.
