ISLAMABAD: Asia Infrastructure and Investment Bank (AIIB) appreciated economic policies and reforms of present government for social uplift of masses. Director General Investment AIIB Supee Teravaninthom during a meeting with Minister for Finance and Revenue Miftah Ismail highlighted role of Bank in infrastructure development projects and investment and extended AIIB’s financial support and cooperation to Pakistan.  

She was heading AIIB delegation that met finance minister here, said a press statement issued by finance ministry adding that senior officers from finance division also participated in meeting. Finance Minister shared with delegation currently undertaken budgetary and fiscal measures. He apprised them about targeted revenue and development goals for growing and sustaining economic infrastructure. Finance Minister also apprised delegation about devastation caused by recent floods in Pakistan and its impact on economy of Pakistan. He expressed gratitude to AIIB delegation for their support, statement added.
