Ahsan Iqbal asks youth to play role in country’s reformation

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal called upon youth of country to play their due role in reformation process of country. “Let’s become part of Make Pakistan Movement to ensure reformation of Pakistan”.

Addressing inauguration ceremony of food, pharma and nutrition conference organised by Riphah University here he said world is competing on economic fronts and gone are days when countries were having competition on basis of their political systems. “We will have to make fast developments on economic front to save Pakistan’s future.

He highlighted that any successful system has capacity to make proper utilisation of knowledge and then take benefits of it.

He maintained that there was no scarcity of talent and other resources in Pakistan but only thing we want is continuity of policies. “Only way to fast development is to ensure peace, stability and continuity of policies”, he added. Ahsan Iqbal reiterated government’s resolves to provide good base of sustainable development for future generation of country.

He said youth must get away with hatred and intolerance to ensure development, cooperation and harmony in society. Promotion of exports is top priority of government and pharma industry has immense potential to help increasing country’s exports. Halal foods, has vast potential especially in Middle East countries which should be tapped by increasing halal foods processing.
