Afghanistan receives $4bn aid

KABUL: Afghanistan has received international aid of four billion dollars on humanitarian grounds, it emerged.

According to a news agency, aid was received by Afghanistan Bank (DBA) and has been transferred to Afghanistan International Bank. DBA, while thanking global community said in a statement that transparency will be ensured during utilisation of aid. Last tranche of humanitarian aid consisted of an amount of 3.20 billion dollars and money will be added up to country’s foreign exchange to boost dying economy.
