Afghan children being used for smuggling in Pakistan: ANF

Karachi: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) revealed that children from Afghanistan are being used in smuggling of clothes, cigarettes and other goods. According to details, meeting of Senate Committee was held under chairmanship of Senator Atta-ur-Rehman, in which ANF briefed participants about smuggling channels.
During briefing session, officials of Anti-Narcotics Force stated that Afghan government cannot stop smuggling due to poverty, meanwhile ANF officials released several children aged 5 to 10 years on humanitarian grounds.
In reply to committee suggested about creating market for local trade at border, ANF officials stated Afghan government is not in favour to establish local markets on boarder.
