Afghan acting FM arriving today to attend Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue

ISLAMABAD: Acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi will visit Pakistan on May 5, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
According to foreign office, acting Foreign Minister will lead high-level delegation, which includes acting Afghan Minister for Commerce and Industry, Haji Nooruddin Azizi and senior officials from Afghan ministries of Foreign Affairs, Transport and Trade.
He will also participate in 5th China-Pakistan-Afghanistan Trilateral Foreign Ministers’ Dialogue on May 6, 2023. Earlier, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to stable, peaceful and prosperous Afghanistan.
He held telephonic conversation with acting Afghan Minister for Foreign Affairs, Amir Khan Muttaqi. Two foreign ministers discussed range of issues of mutual concern.
