KARACHI: Administrator Karachi Murtaza Wahab said that PPP was not going to run away from Local Body (LB) elections as whenever polls are held, PPP will have Mayors in Karachi and Hyderabad. Addressing opening ceremony of 100 kilowatt power generation project at Kidney Hill Park here he said, “Those who doubted popularity of PPP should seek lesson from by-election of Malir where after four years, people took back stolen seat and took revenge with PTI. Imran Khan should support government to help suffering humanity affected by flood instead of protest march.”
We agreed on improving Local Government system, our commitment in this regard will be seen in next 48 hours. To combat climate change, KMC has planted trees across city and is now going to set a new tradition in form of a green energy project, proving that LB can work,” he said.
