Karachi: Administrator DMC East Syed Shakil Ahmed said that deployment of traffic volunteers in district east proved to be best initiative, there was lot of appreciation received from public in this regard, along with keeping 21 places of district east  running, now volunteers are working to keep important commercial centres including Tariq Road, Bahadurabad keeping run.

Inspecting services of traffic volunteers along with focal person Imtiaz Bhutto, Director Anti-Encroachment Elahi Bakhsh Banbhan and others he appreciated services of traffic volunteers. They are trying to maintain traffic flow with full diligence, he added. Last three days of Eid shopping will be challenging in terms of keeping traffic moving, so traffic volunteers have to serve in those days with patience and mental strength, he added.
