Acting CG Japan, Tessori discuss trade cooperation, investment in Sindh

Karachi: Acting Consul General of Japan in Karachi Yasushi Nakagawa and Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori discussed mutual relations, commercial and economic, promotion of trade cooperation, investment opportunities in Sindh province and other issues of mutual interest. Governor said that Pakistan-Japan relations are getting stronger with passage of time and this is reason why he attaches great importance to relations with Japan.

Kamran Tessori said that Japanese investors can take advantage of favourable investment opportunities in Karachi. He said that Sindh province can be invested in energy, agriculture and other sectors. Governor Sindh said that steps are being taken to restore infrastructure in Karachi. Tokyo-based Pakistani journalist Irfan Siddiqui was also present. 

Meanwhile, Governor talking to Haji Rafiq Pardesi Head of HMR Group disucced with him role of social welfare organisations, enhancement of efforts, further involvement in health and education sectors and other matters. Welfare works is commendable. Rich people should be like him, Kamran said. Services of Haji Rafiq Pardesi for rehabilitation of flood victims are praiseworthy.
