ACPK ‘World Culture Festival Karachi 2024’ dazzle with mega music concert 4.0

KARACHI: 24th day of 38-day ‘World Culture Festival Karachi 2024,’ organized by Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi continued successfully with vibrant musical concert.

Mega Music Concert 4.0 added an extra spark to festival with performances by South Korean group Good Fellis, SOVAPA Academic Ensemble, Hamza Akram Qawwal, Natasha Baig, Wahab Bugti, Sultan Baloch, Noman Al Shaikh, JAMBROZ Band, and Rhythmic Reverie. Good Fellis from South Korea captivated the hearts of Karachi’s audience with their unique performance. During musical concert, Consul General of South Korea Yi Sungho, shared his thoughts. He remarked that It is matter of great pride for me that Korean concert is being held in Pakistan.” He highlighted that “Listening to Korean band in Karachi is rare opportunity, and for first time, people of Karachi are experiencing South Korean musical band. People from both countries will enjoy this concert together, fostering cultural ties.” He mentioned that we have introduced new experience, breaking away from traditional methods and presenting art of music in different style.” Consul General expressed his desire for people. He said wants people here to understand music from all over world and contribute to Pakistan’s development.

He concluded by expressing gratitude to Arts Council, acknowledging their support: “I am thankful to Arts Council for providing opportunity to perform at this festival.  President Arts Council Ahmed Shah said that South Korea is peaceful nation and he extends warm welcome to them. He said that by performing in our country today, South Korean group has not only brought honour to their own country but also elevated name of Pakistan.  Hamza Akram Qawwal’s powerful qawwali had crowd swaying in rhythm. Wahab Bugti and Natasha Baig also mesmerised attendees with their soulful voices and SOVAPA Academic Ensemble paid tribute to Pakistani music directors through their musical compositions.
