AC suspends permanent arrest warrants of Ishaq Dar, orders

ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad suspended permanent arrest warrants of PML-N senior leader and former Finance Minister Ishaq Dar till October 7 ordering that he should not be arrested on his arrival in Pakistan. 

Court remarked it will see matter of cancellation of warrants when Ishaq Dar returns to Pakistan.  Petition against permanent arrest warrants of Ishaq Dar came up for hearing before AC Islamabad led by judge Muhammad Bashir. Qazi Misbah counsel for Ishaq Dar appeared in court and opened up arguments. 

Judge of AC inquired from counsel of Ishaq Dar that either Ishaq Dar was sick or there was some other problem. 

Counsel informed court about reasons behind issuing arrest warrants of PML-N leader praying permanent arrest warrants of ishaq Dar be cancelled. 

Counsel for ishaq Dar assured court Ishaq Dar will appear straight in court after his plane lands at airport. Learned judge inquired where prosecutor is.
