LAHORE: One of the country’s hot spot of voting, the constituency of NA-130 in Lahore faced delay in voting at various polling stations due to the absence of polling agents in Lahore.
In NA-130, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PTI-backed candidate Dr Yasmeen Rashid are contesting.
According to the presiding officer of one polling station, although voting commenced at 8:00 am, it was momentarily halted due to security concerns.
Several polling stations in NA-130 began the polling process with representatives from only one party present.
In many stations, only PMLN agents are currently in attendance, with representatives from PTI, PPP, JI, and TLP notably absent at numerous polling stations.
