Abrar ul Haq, widely celebrated as the Bhangra King of Pakistan, comes from a family of bureaucrats, army officers, and businessmen.

Despite his family’s background, Abrar always had a passion for music, leading him to carve out a career that was unique to his lineage. His love for Punjabi music made him one of the most beloved singers in the subcontinent, and no celebration or wedding in Pakistan feels complete without his iconic tracks. Recently, Abrar ul Haq shared an amusing story from his career that left many of his fans laughing. He recalled an encounter with the popular Indian singer, Yo Yo Honey Singh, who enjoys immense popularity in Pakistan as well.

The singer revealed that one day he received a call from his manager informing him that a “woman” named Honey wanted to collaborate with him on a song. Abrar, puzzled, politely declined the offer, thinking little of it. However, his manager called again, this time explaining that it wasn’t a woman named Honey, but in fact, the famous rapper Honey Singh. Realizing the mix-up, Abrar then got in touch with Honey Singh, and the two hit it off. They went on to collaborate on a track, and the result was a hit. The humorous confusion became a memorable story for Abrar ul Haq, showcasing the lighter side of his journey and the unexpected connections that shape an artist’s career.
