Fans of legendary Sufi singer Abida Perveen were recently left concerned after a video surfaced showing her in a wheelchair at an event.

The video, which quickly went viral, sparked widespread worry about her health. The singer was seen seated in a wheelchair while reciting her famous qawwali Man Kunto Maula at the National Museum of Qatar in Doha, leading many to question her well-being. In response to the growing concerns, Abida Perveen’s team took to her Instagram to address the situation and reassure her fans. The team explained that the decision to use a wheelchair was made for convenience during a long walk at the museum, which Abida had walked herself for the most part. They emphasized that her use of the wheelchair was simply a matter of comfort and not due to any serious health issues. “Hello, everybody! We have been seeing lots of concern regarding a video of Abida Ji at the National Museum of Qatar, Doha, reciting Man Kunto Maula,” her team wrote on Instagram. “We would like to assure you of her well-being, Alhamdulillah.” The team expressed their gratitude for the concern shown by fans but reassured them that Abida Perveen is in good health. Her contribution to Sufi music continues to be celebrated worldwide, and the legendary singer remains an adored figure for her musical talent and spiritual presence.
