7th Commissioner Karachi Cup: Girls, Boys Basketball Tournament

KARACHI:  Under the auspices of Firdous Ittihad and Sports Welfare Organization, in collaboration with Usman Basketball Club and with the permission of Karachi Basketball Association, the 7th Commissioner Karachi Cup Girls and Boys Basketball Tournament will be played from January 23 to 30 at the International Abdul Nasser Basketball Court.

This announcement was made by the chief organizer of the tournament, Ghulam Muhammad Khan, to organize the tournament in the best way, a committee has been formed under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Aram Bagh Nida Suman, in which the secretary of the girls event, Zaima Khatun, the secretary of the boys event, Haji Muhammad Ashraf Yahya Media Coordinator Ijaz Ahmad Qureshi, KBBA Secretary Tariq Hussain, President T.M.A Ahmar Shafiq, MCB's Muhammad Haider Khan, NBP Azmatullah Khan, UBL Zulfiqar Abbas, Metro Pakistan Imran Ahmed Shamim, business leader Asif Gulfam are included.

Besides, Ghulam Abbas Jamal Advocate, International Muhammad Yaqoob, DPE National Government College Saeeda Iftikhar while Commissioner Karachi, Deputy Commissioner South Patron and Ghulam Muhammad Khan are the chief organizers.

Draws for the tournament will be drawn on January 21. At the end of the tournament, PBF President and Pakistan National Captain Brig. Rashid Ali Malik Sports Excellence Award 2023 for Outstanding Service in Basketball will be awarded, which is sponsored by Major (Rtd) Usman Ali Malik, C.E.O of 2000 Security Agency.
