7 labourers gunned down in attack on residential quarter

As many as 7 labourers have been gunned in an attack by armed persons on residential quarter in Gwadar. All victims hailed from Punjab. 

According to police armed persons attacked residential quarter in area of Sarband near fish harbour jetti and gunned down 7 persons sleeping therein.  One person is reported to have been injured in attack.  All victims and injured person are stated to be hailing from district Khanewal Punjab. They all worked in barbar shop. Incident took place at 3pm overnight.

forces have surrounded area and started operation to search unknown attackers. Victims have been identified as Sajid, Asad Ansar, Shan, Makrab, Adnan and Haseeb. One Arsalan has been injured in incident.  President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, governors, Chief Minister Balochistan and leadership of political and religious parties have condemned Gawadar incident saying killing of innocent laborers is an open terrorism.  

We will chase terrorists and their facilitators. State writ will be maintained at every cost.
