6 women killed as jeep plunges into ravine in Neelum Valley

Neelum Valley: Six women killed and five persons injured when jeep fell into ravine in Azad Kashmir’s Neelum Valley. According to police, jeep fell into gorge near Dodhniyal in Azad Kashmir’s Neelum Valley, killing six women including Shamim Bibi, Zaiwar Jan widow of Amin Malik, Altaf Jan, Bibi Guddi and Rani Bibi.
Injured were identified as Walayat Bibi, Sobia Bibi, Habib Jan, driver Fida Hussain and Muhammad Bashir. Women after casting their vote were on their way back home when tragedy struck. Voting at polling station numbers 7 and 8 in Beesiyanwali in Dodhniya was temporarily suspended due to accident. Voting in Local Body elections is taking place throughout Azad Kashmir.
