6 killed in car-motorcycle collision, 10 children drowned in incidents

CHISHTIAN: At least six people were killed after car hit motorcycle near Gajiani village in Chishtian district police reported. According to rescuer sources, speeding car hit motorcycle before colliding with roadside tree, resulting in death of six people. Injured and deceased were shifted to nearby hospital.

Preliminary investigations showed that incident happened due to overspeeding. Ill-fated family in car was going to attend marriage ceremony. In separate incident today, at least 10 children of Madrasah of village Mir Badshah Khel drowned after boat carrying 25 madrasa students capsised in Tanda Dam of Kohat district. –Online
