5th Sindh College Games of Larkana Region started with a Tug-of-war event at Boys College Larkana

Larkana: 5th Sindh college Games of Larkana region have started in with a power showing tug of war game after the colorful opening ceremony held here at the Sports Complex Government Boys Degree College Larkana today.

Regional Director of Colleges Prof. Ahmed Bakhsh Bhutto was the chief guest, he with Principal of the college and member of the Regional Organizing Committee Prof. Altaf Hussain Abro, Deputy Director Prof. Imtiaz Shah, adl.Director Prof imtiaz channa, deputy director prof.imtiaz shah, Co-ordinator Prof. Aqeel Ahmed Lakhiar, Focal Person Parvez Ahmed Shaikh, Program Coordinator Khadim Hussain Gopang, Senior Director Physical Education Shafqat Hussain Makhani and other committee members and principals. Inaugurated by cutting the inaugural ribbon and announced the opening of the Games.

Arena was decorated with colorful flags and banners.Principals, directors physical education and players of all the boys and girls colleges across the region participated in the ceremony and had a beautiful walk past.On this occasion, Athlete name, Bhale Dino Mugheri, the player who made an international tour to Azerbaijan on behalf of the Pakistan Boards,took an oath on behalf of all participating players to demonstrate "fair play" with the true spirit of sports keeping in mind the "Play for Pakistan" slogan.

Later, the Tug of War Boys competitions was started. In the opening match, Govt. College Kandhkot defeated Government College Ghari Hassan by 2-0. After other round matches, pre-quarter and quarter-final competitions, G.C Madeji, G.C Kashmore, G.C Meru Khan and G.C Naseerabad qualified for the semi-finals.The matches were supervised by Khadim Hussain Gopang, Shafqat Hussain Makani, Zulfiqar Hussain, Nasrullah Memon, Zahoor Tunio, Haider Khoso, Mushtaq Magsi, Zulfiqar Arain, Mahfooz Makani
