44th anniversary of Iran revolution marked at Iran Khana Farhang

Karachi: 44th anniversary of victory of Islamic Revolution was celebrated at thoughtful conference at Cultural Centre of Islamic Republic of Iran-Karachi. Director of Cultural Centre of Islamic Republic of Iran-Karachi, Director General of Culture and Secretary of Religious Affairs and Zakat and Usher Sindh Mumawer Ali Mehaser, Dean Faculty of Islamic Studies Karachi University Zahid Ali Zahidi and Nazir Leghari Chief Executive of Bol TV Network and publication spoke.

Director of Khana Farhang Iran, Dr. Saeed Talabi Nia said that this gathering is being held to discuss and analyse role of Imam Khomeini and Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in expanding culture of independence and freedom of nations.

Meeting was participated by number of representatives of all schools of thoughts, media and social media activists, show-biz artists, academics, men of letters and intellectuals.

Director said that Iran and Pakistan have close friendly relations for centuries and still there is deep love for Pakistan in Iranian people. He said that main aim of Imam Khomeini's revolution was to abolish imperialist dominance from Iran. Imam Khomeini always emphasised on economic, political and social freedom of Muslim nation.

Senior journalist Nazir Leghari discussed about development of Islamic Republic of Iran in different field of technology and science in last forty-four years in spite of severe economic international sanctions. Speakers highlighted services of Imam Khomeini and Quaid-e-Azam in awakening Muslim nation all over world. At end of ceremony, birthday cake of Iranian Revolution was cut.
