19th April golden day in history of country: Shazia Marri

KARACHI: Minister and spokesperson of Peoples Party Parliamentarian Shazia Marri has said, April 10 is golden day in history of country.

Former President Asif Ali Zardari had strengthened democracy through 18th constitutional amendment.

In statement Minister said, Former President Asif Ali Zardari had returned powers of President to Parliament on that day.

She has said, Asif Ali Zardari had strengthened democracy through 18th constitutional amendment, people of Khayber Pakhtun Khawa and Gilgit Baltistan got recognition today.

Shazia Marri said, Asif Ali Zardari had strengthened federation by giving autonomy to provinces. Eighteenth constitutional amendment is covenant between Federation and all units.

Minister said, Parliament is completing its duration of period for third time due to benefits of eighteenth constitutional amendment. If Parliament will be empowered then outside interference will end.
