15th Aalmi Urdu Conf at Arts Council Karachi from Dec 1-4

KARACHI: Fifteenth four-day Almi Urdu Conference will be held from December 1 at Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi. Hundreds of language, literature, art and culture experts from all over world will express their views in more than 45 sessions. Dozens of books will also be launched in conference. 

President of Arts Council Ahmad Shah addressing press conference along with poet and intellectual Iftikhar Arif, Anwar Maqsood, Noor ul Huda Shah said that there are literary meetings, mushaira, qawwali, dance that is connected with culture and six languages of Pakistan are part of event. Today country is being divided economically and politically and needs to be united.Our great people are separated from us, Mustansar Hussain Tarar is unwell. Delegates from India did not get NOC so they will participate online. Anwar Maqsood said that Ahmed Shah is not human being, he is waiting for Almi Urdu Conference like a mother waits for birth of child. People of Karachi are requested to reach Arts Council at four o’clock on December 1.

Iftikhar Arif said it is not easy to collect writers of all languages of Pakistan under one roof. This has been implemented by Arts Council. Noor ul Hudi Shah said that role of Arts Council in coming two years, contribution of writers and poets and dead city has come alive. Conference will bring love, unity and closeness and stronger it will be.
