14 PML-N leaders including Tarar gets protective bail

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail to 14 PML-N leaders including Atta Tarar. Case came up for hearing before single bench of Islamabad High Court (IHC) led by acting Chief Justice (CJ) Amir Farooq here yesterday.

At inception of hearing police inquired these cases have been registered where.

PML-N Mashhud told court these cases have been registered in different areas of Lahore.

We are ready to face these cases. Protective bail for 14 days be granted to us to resort to Lahore High Court. Another case has been registered against us. Petition in this regard be heard today too. Justice Amir Farooq remarked nothing could be said on it unless petition is filed. You should file petition first and then court will see it.

Court while accepting protective bail pleas of PML-N leaders for 14 days in sum of Rupees 25,000 each restrained police from arresting them.
