KARACHI: As many as 1, 202 candidates appeared in entry test for BS first year for BSCS and BSCE (Computer Science) and BS Applied Physics Evening Programme 2023 at Karachi University.

KU received 1, 668 online forms for available 270 seats in department of computer science and applied physics. A 100-minute long entry test was started in 23 examination classrooms in departments of Political Science and Computer Ccience.

In-charge Directorate of Admissions Dr Saima Akhtar said 321 candidates cleared morning programme test but could not get admissions as they cleared evening programme.

Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood Iraqi, Registrar Prof Dr Abdul Waheed, Dean of Arts and Social Sciences Prof Dr Nusrat Idress, Director of Evening Programme Prof Dr Nabeel Ahmed Zubairi and others monitored admission test proceedings.
