1122 plays important role rescuing accident victims: APSMA Chief Tariq Shah

Karachi: Syed Tariq Shah Central Chairman of All Private Schools Management Association (APSMA) Sindh on visiting Sindh Rescue Service 1122 Headquarters met Director General of Sindh Rescue 1122 Abid Ali, Saad bin Aziz, Mohsin Bilal Bally Shoaib, Saba Qadir, Basrar Yahan and Chin Naveed.
He said that Sindh government should provide maximum facilities to people and solve their issues. He said that apart from natural calamities, people are killed and injured in road accidents.
Tariq Shah said that government should provide at least an air ambulance to Sindh Amer Gensi Rescue to help those injures in accidents. Condition of roads in city in shambles, he lamented. It is causing hindrance in flow of traffic as ambulances also stranded in rush hours.
Director General Abid Ali said that rescue 1122 is highly trained and equipped with modern rescue equipment. 24 hours with 130 ambulances are at service of humanity in all four provinces of country for all kinds of accidents and tragedies. Centres are being set up near Pir Gulshan Iqbal and Key One Shopping Centre for immediate assistance in case of any accident.
Women are also included in Rescue 1122 team. Abid Ali said that all government agencies are on board with us, including fire department.
