10-year-old Swat boy Bashar clinches 4th award

ISLAMABAD: The distinguished talent, a ten-year-old Pakistani boy, Muhammad Bashar, from Swat, participated in the International Quran Recitation Competition “Mazamir Dawood” in Algeria which was organized from August 18 to 31, by the private media channel “Echorouk” with the participation of more than 15 countries, and won fourth position with a prize of one thousand five hundred (1500) dollars. 

It is worth noting that the Echorouk channel competition is organized annually, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Endowments of Algeria organizes the Int’l Quran Recitation Competition annually under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, H.E Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and Pakistan participates in it regularly, which strengthens the cultural and spiritual relations between the two peoples and the two brotherly countries, Algeria and Pakistan.
