‘Thankful’ to PM for leaking my audio: Imran

MUZAFFARABAD: Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan while reacting to recent audio leak allegedly featuring him regarding ‘Cablegate’ cypher said that he was grateful to PM Shehbaz for leaking his audio and proving that cypher was a reality. Addressing a public rally here that a US-backed regime change conspiracy toppled his government through a no-confidence motion PTI chairman accuses Lu of threatening Pakistan’s former Ambassador to US Asad Majeed, that a failure to remove Imran through a no-confidence vote would herald “consequences” for Pakistan and vice versa. Imran also alleges that threat was made even before no-confidence motion was tabled and that it subsequently started a chain of events that resulted in his ouster as local abettors and conspirators joined in claimed conspiracy. “I want to thank you, Shehbaz Sharif, you leaked my conversation with Principal Secretary and proved that cypher was true,” Imran said. Trade with India would be beneficial but we did not prefer it over our Kashmiri brothers struggle, he added. PTI Chief said that Sindh is submerged in floods while Bilawal Bhutto is touring America. Shehbaz Sharif begged a female journalist for funds, he added.
Ishaq Dar, who was an absconder for five years, has returned to country and has been appointed finance minister, he added. PTI chief told that rupee has depreciated 33 percent since this government took charge. In 2018, Pakistan had its highest current account deficit of over $ 20 billion. Addressing ECP Chief Sultan Sikander Raja, Imran Khan said that if he has any shame, he should resign immediately. He added that current government reduced Kashmir budget from Rs 200 billion to Rs 60 billion. He urged people of Kashmir to come out with their families on his call.
