Senior journalist’s daughter-in- law murdered by husband

ISLAMABAD: Daughter in law of senior journalist Ayyaz Mir has been allegedly murdered in Chak Shahzad area of Islamabad.

According to Islamabad Police spokesperson Sara, daughter in law of Ayyaz Mir has been killed by her husband Shah Nawaz in home.

Police spokesperson told journalists Shah Nawaz has been taken into custody by police. Senior police officers of Islamabad police and forensic teams were also present. Police spokesperson said investigation into murder incident was underway. Whatever facts come to light will be shared.

Body of Sara has been shifted to PIMS for postmortem.
