Islamabad: Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik’s wife Mushaal Hussein Mullick said RSS-inspired Hindutva ideology being pursued by BJP-led Modi government is a major threat to “foreign investment” in India. In an exclusive interview with Radio Pakistan’s News and Current Affairs Channel, she said major international players will not make investment in India due to extremist, anti-minorities and anti-Muslims policies of Narendra Modi.

This is posing serious threat to regional peace and stability. Mushaal Mullick said fascist Narendra Modi and Indian Army are turning Kashmiris into a minority in valley by issuing domiciles to Indian citizens in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. She said New Delhi government is making every effort to dampen Kashmiris’ spirit of freedom, but all negative tactics will only strengthen their commitment to liberation movement. She regretted that whole India is under control of extremist ideology, threatening very fabric of Indian society, where minorities are being systematically targeted.

Talking about India’s illegal and unilateral actions of August 5, 2019, Mushaal Hussein Mullick opined that New Delhi is trying to create “identity crisis” in held valley by giving rights of franchise to outsiders. She urged international community to hold India accountable for its illegal actions and bring country under ambit of defense and economic sanctions.

Mushaal Mullick regretted that her husband Yasin Malik had been kept in a death cell where his life was in danger. She said that United Nations, Security Council, European Union and other international organisations remained silent spectators to human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir.  She said courage and determination of Yasin Malik cannot be defeated through negative tactics. She said time is not far when India will be held accountable for its atrocities. Mushaal said voice of Kashmiris and their struggle for freedom cannot be suppressed through use of brute force.

Paying rich tribute to martyred veteran Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Gilani on his first martyrdom anniversary, Mushaal said Kashmiris will continue their freedom struggle till its logical conclusion.  She said political struggle, unwavering and untiring services of Syed Ali Gilani for Kashmir cause will be remembered for a long time in annals of Kashmir history.
