ISLAMABAD: PTI Chairperson Imran Khan said that he will show masses what true freedom actually entails on August 13 during his ‘power show’ in Lahore in connection with Independence Day.

Addressing minority convention here, he said that Prophet (PBUH) signed Madina Pact with non-Muslims, “which proves that a humane society is created when people have humanistic values.” “Country cannot move forward until justice prevails,” he said, asking people present at convention to highlight those countries where decision is taken against head of government.

Former premier said, “A society can never prosper without rule of law, everyone, including rich and poor must have equal human rights.” He lamented that absence of rule of law was one of biggest problems in Pakistan. Speaking about his upcoming rally in Lahore, he told gathering that on August 13, his party will celebrate “real freedom” and give a message to minorities that they are equal citizens of Pakistan.

Imran Khan said that he will also unveil a future course of action on how to achieve “true freedom”. Imran Khan said that his party will oppose forced conversions of girls to Islam. He said that our holy Prophet (PBUH) is a mercy to whole world and State of Madina was first welfare state in world and our holy Prophet (PBUH) had signed Meesaq-e-Madina (Madina Accord) with people of all religions. Imran Khan further said that there is no coercion in religion of Islam and he will oppose forced conversion of girls to Islam, adding that country will move forward if there is justice in country.
