‘Closely eyeing on alleged TTP presence in Swat’

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif said that he is looking into matter of alleged presence of Taliban in Swat and he is also in contact with Afghan government.

Khawaja Asif while talking to media after soft launch ceremony of Defense Exhibition Ideas 2022 said that respect for institutions is important, adding Shahbaz Gill has violated law and government will deal with him under law. Minister said that he is looking into issue of reports of alleged presence of Taliban in Swat and is in contact with Afghan government in this regard.

Senior officials of three armed forces, foreign ambassadors in Islamabad and their military attachés also participated in soft launch. Director General of Defense Export Promotion Organisation, Ministry of Defense Production Organisation, Major General Muhammad Arif Malik has launched soft launch of Ideas 2022 Pakistan while delegates from more than a hundred countries are invited to exhibition of latest weapons of Pakistan’s defence production establishments. During Ideas 2022, Pakistan-made tanks, missiles, rocket launchers, latest guns and all types of weapons are exhibited in Idea 2022 for eleven years.
