RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League Pakistan (AMLP) leader Sheikh Rasheed said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif should announce date of elections and let people choose who they want.

Taking to Twitter, former Interior Minister Rasheed said that Shehbaz Sharif should make a Charter of Democracy instead of a Charter of Economy. He challenged political opponents and said nation understands that illness of Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari is an excuse to run away. Whether cowardly Nawaz Sharif returns homeland or not, or is qualified or remains disqualified, it does not matter anymore. Rasheed said that if political conflict increases, politicians will also be on target. "Delay in election will be death of democracy," he added.
