Karachi: As many as 887 candidates appeared in entry test for BS first year for BSCS and BSCE (Computer Science) and BS Applied Physics Evening Programme 2022 at Karachi University.
KU received 1,300 online forms for available 250 seats in department of computer science and applied physics. A 100-minute long entry test was started in three departments of Arts and Social Sciences faculty.
According to in-charge KU Directorate of Admissions Dr Saima Akhtar, candidates who appeared for entry test were directed to report along with their original CNIC and admit card at their respective examination centres.
“We have uploaded admit cards on student’s portal and informed them through SMS service as well so that they could bring a printout and easily reach their examination room on time.”
She mentioned that 240 students, who appeared and cleared morning programme entry test and also applied for evening programme were directed not to appear in test held on January 16, 2022, as they would get admissions according to their test score in morning program.
