IHC grants protective bail to PTI leader Haleem Sheikh

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail to PTI member of Sindh Assembly (SA) Haleem Adil Sheikh in connection with his harassment petition. Court has ordered that Haleem Adil Sheikh be not arrested.

Court directed Haleem Adil Sheikh to file surety bonds. Haleem Adil Sheikh had approached IHC in connection with protective bail and against his possible harassment. Petitioner had taken plea PTI is being targeted after change of government. Well placed sources have told that government has decided to teach lesson to party members including him. He is not nominated in FIR regarding blasphemy case. But he can be arrested by including his name in list of unknown persons. He prayed court to issue orders for stopping illegal harassment besides summoning record of all FIRs registered against him all over country.

Bail plea of petitioner be accepted so that he could appear before respective court. Court ordered no arrest in blasphemy case besides granting protective bail to him.
